From there he immediately joined a private practice, plus undertook further postgraduate training in Paediatric Osteopathy at the prestigious Osteopathic Centre for Children where he is now a Consultant. After completing an initial degree in Biochemistry, James went on to gain a second degree, this time in Osteopathy, by graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 2001 after 4 years of intense study. James' roles at the Osteopathic Centre for Children involve managing and teaching a team of a dozen or so post-graduate Osteopaths within a busy paediatric clinic, lecturing and examining Osteopaths in their final clinical assessments.
With this knowledge and experience, James regularly treats patients from newborns to pensioners, with a range of backgrounds that cover the sedentary to professional athletes. Together with his deep insight into exercise physiology, nutrition and rehabilitation, he is also experienced in the treatment of sports injuries and the management of athletes. He has great experience in all types of Osteopathy including children's osteopathy and baby osteopathy.
James has lived in the Mid Sussex area all his life, with 4 children he enjoys a full family life, and for relaxation he enjoys the gym, plus for 20 years an avid student of traditional Japanese martial arts.
